Areas of Specialism

I work with a variety of presenting problems, stress, anxiety, depression, but tend to work at a deeper level, which involves exploring the experience of the present, past and hoped for future. I particularly work with people who have experienced significant trauma in childhood or as teenagers and are struggling still to come to terms with these experiences in their adult lives. I have a strong interest in male psychology and masculinities and have worked with many men around this complex area.

As part of any trauma related work, I also offer EMDR therapy, where this seems appropriate.

Personal Approach

I work from an integrative perspective involving the developmental past, the phenomenological present, and the transformational-hoped for future. My therapeutic approach is very influenced by the individual in front of me - our inner world varies for each of us, therefore our work together will be unique, as any relationship is.

Get in touch

Taking the first step

Making contact with a therapist can feel exposing, especially when you are trying to put something deeply personal into words.

You do not need to write a detailed account of what is happening. A brief message explaining that you are interested in an exploratory conversation is enough.

You can contact me using the confidential form below, email me, or leave a message on 07771 684684.

I usually respond to enquiries within 24 hours during the working week.
